I am going to be in newyork for the summer ( 2 months) I am a theatre student and i really wana do somthing with theatre over the summer while i am in newyork. any thing you can think of.

Hi, well I know that the library has FREE activites and what not. You might want to try that. Or you could see if there are any cheap camps.
Reply:Dr. Steve%26#039;s right about the web site. You can also pick up Backstage and other industry trades at about every newstand in the city. If you are willing to work for free, you might try contacting some of the larger Off-Broadway theatre companies and volunteer. This would be a great way to beef up your resume. Unless you are a union stagehand, you will not be allowed to work in a Broadway house or venue. However, you can try internships.
